As we mentioned in the last news, we have a special interest in 17th-18th century music and in the future, as a teacher, I will let this influence my teaching more in certain contexts. This is the reason why we are now starting courses when there is time, such as during holidays. The courses are called Theme chords, from Abba to Bach. We investigate in a playful way how chords are found in all the music we play. Maybe one of our students will take a place in the Barockify! course in the future. We are also doing a course for younger children, which we call having fun together with piano playing .
We will set up a piano studio in Rotebro and do a 3-day group course for those who want to. Monday 27/10, Tuesday 28/10 and Wednesday 29/10. There will be room for 4 students in each group and to begin with I need to investigate the interest and then put groups together. To participate in any of the piano courses, prior knowledge is required. You do not need to be a student with us to participate. If you are taking other piano lessons, you can still participate in our courses during the holidays. You must first become a member of the association.
