Klaverhuset is a non-profit organisation that aims to offer high quality music education with well trained teachers and to promote the local music scene.

The association’s goal is for students to perform in concerts regularly and to play on well maintained, high quality instruments both in lessons and performances.

The association was founded in 2016 and is based in Sollentuna Municipality. Around 65 children and adults receive piano instruction each week. Students, parents and teachers work together to encourage practice and help discover the joy of music.

We place special value on helping students experience the joy of playing acoustic instruments. If you don’t yet have an instrument, we’re happy to offer guidance on finding either an acoustic or digital one. We put extra time and care into helping those who are interested in finding a good acoustic piano.

The membership fee is 100 SEK/year. For siblings, the membership fee is included in the term fee.

You don’t need to be taking lessons with us to become a member. Everyone is welcome. As a member, you’ll receive:

• Updates about student concerts by email
• Invitations to camps and events
• The opportunity to support our ongoing work with young musicians

We occasionally organise week long camps subsidised by grants from various foundations. By becoming a member, you’ll receive information about upcoming camps. Members with suitable prior knowledge may take part in these camps even if they’re not currently enrolled in lessons.

Send an email to info@klaverhuset.se with your name and address, and let us know that you’d like to become a member. You’ll receive an invoice for the 100 SEK membership fee by email.

If you have any experience with music or instruments that you think could be of use to us, feel free to include that in your message.
